An excellent writer and close friend of mine, Charlie Clements, has just finished a novel titled "Superhero Questions". I had the opportunity to read it before it goes to press, and it is a magnificent set of short stories. I was also given the honor of illustrating the cover of the book. And here it is. There are some themes from some of his stories woven into the drawing; I wanted to capture the essence of the summers of youth, with a bit of a surreal twist. The book will be released this summer on the Boston-based publishing company ELJ Publications.
